Home Learning (Year 5)
Hello to all our lovely year 5 children,
We hope you are all happy, healthy and safe! It is hard to believe that we are coming towards the end of the academic year. Like you, we are missing the usual Summer activities we have in school and are missing seeing you all. We hope the return of the (occasional!) sunny weather is keeping your spirits up.
This week we have included a maths mystery challenge – can you crack the case? We look forward to finding out how many budding detectives we have in our midst!
Take a look at this week’s top ten on our leaderboards (the leaderboard is on the top the Planning Timetable: Year 5. The top ten children have remained the same but there are some slight changes in position! There is still time to challenge for the top ten – come on year 5, you can do it!
This week your RE lesson is ‘Journey in love’ – this will need to be done with your parents at home. Ask an adult to refer to ParentMail to help and guide you through this. Please note – if you are in the key worker bubble this will not be delivered in school.
We so love your emails and photographs and we would love our final newsletter to have as many of your lovely faces in it, as possible! Please try to send in a photograph doing something you have enjoyed during the school closure – cycling, baking, trampolining, working at the computer, reading, splashing in the paddling pool, going for a walk, completing a life skill … we cannot wait to see them!
Keep well, be happy and stay safe.
Mrs Fagan & Mrs Henry
